Now, 'Find Wi-Fi' anywhere in the world

Now, 'Find Wi-Fi' anywhere in the world

Facebook has expanded its "Find Wi-Fi" feature globally on both iOS and Android devices for its two billion users.
The social networking giant had begun testing a "Find Wi-Fi" option last year on mobile only for iOS users in select countries.
"We're beginning to roll out 'Find Wi-Fi' everywhere in the world on iPhone and Android. We launched it in a handful of countries last year and found it's not only helpful for people who are travelling or on-the-go, but especially useful in areas where cellular data is scarce," Alex Himel, Engineering Director at Facebook, wrote in a blog post late Friday.
"'Find Wi-Fi' helps users locate available Wi-Fi hot spots nearby that businesses have shared with Facebook from their Page.
"So wherever you are, you can easily map the closest connections when your data connection is weak," the post added.
To find Wi-Fi hotspots, open your Facebook app, click on the "More" tab and then "Find Wi-Fi".
Once in the "Find Wi-Fi" tab, you may need to turn it on.
Users can then browse the closest available hotspots on a map, and learn more about the businesses hosting them.

Westerhout holds the highly coveted job of special assistant and executive assistant to the President of the United States and according to White House salary data released on Friday, she makes $95,000 a year. For most employees her age, that's a hefty paycheck. The average worker between the ages of 25 and 34 makes $50,232 a year. But then again, most young professionals don't have a job like Westerhout's. How does the Trump's assistant stack up to others who've held the same role? On paper, Westerhout makes the same as her predecessor. Anita Decker Breckenridge, who started as President Barack Obama's executive assistant during his second term at age 32, made $95,000. When...
